Large Format Printing

We try to encourage large format printing for our clients. There is just something so magical about that one perfect shot, enlarged to have a space in your home. Oftentimes, our prints are used as art on our client's walls. A perfect black and white print of a beloved shot can bring joy to any home, everyday.

Outdoor Fun

We also do outdoor photography, especially with bigger kids...Stan and I have a lot of fun chasing them around and taking photos that really capture the expression and personality of the child. This little man Jacob was especially full of personality and spunk.

That perfect shot

Once in awhile we get shots like these... and we are so moved by them. Truly priceless.

Georgia and Nadia

One of the best shoots we've had. Georgia's gorgeous little girl Nadia was adorable. The connection between mother and child really inspired me and we took over 300 photos of them. This little one is going to be a model one day  just like her mom. To this day, every time I smile every time I see the images.

Large format printing

We really want our photographs to be treated like art pieces. In these modern times where photography is making quite the comeback, a nice black and white print or set of prints of your little one/s can really change the look of your home. I often tell our clients who want to make their photos part of the art on their walls that the trick is really to take a step back and think about what particular space in their homes that the photo can occupy. Yes, the usual 8x10 can still occupy various spaces, even the office, but there is something amazing about having a large print grace your space. I have a friend who placed 3 large black and white prints of her baby in their living room. It gave it such a loving and different touch, and people kept asking about it. The trick lies in choosing the right one especially if you have a lot of choices! =)

The Stork Studio

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
- Aaron Siskind

Who am I? Well, I am a photographer who's goal is to go beyond the usual classic baby photo. No cookie-cutter type of pictures but one that captures your baby's personality and the fun in your relationship. I photograph moments, sentiments and simple joys because not every photo should be about smiling. At the end of the day, the image has to mean something more - it has to speak.

Newborns are crinkly and babies are squishy, crawlers are developing their own personalities and waddlers curious, toddlers are explorers and big kids are filled with wonder... different stages and a multitude of milestones. It's amazing how one childhood photograph can bring back so many memories. It is my goal to make them for you and your little one.

Most importantly, its about having fun while we do it too.

I do fine art photography for newborns, babies, toddlers, children, maternity and family.
If you are interested in commissioning me to photograph a child, please contact by email at thestorkstudio@gmail.com for more details.

Thank you =)
